4. Instructions
-A. Hack a player or make a player

Get an existing player you found

Strip it to the bare minimum

Understand how the buttons work

Hack them by soldering small beads

Test all the hacked buttons
B- Make the soft circuit that will connect the different parts of the player.
In this case, the hacked player will be controlled by buttons accessible from the other end of the long sock (which by the way is actually to socks stitched together).

Design the soft circuit you want

I simply drew 2 lines out for each button

Remember to isolate the circuit
C- Put all the parts together
The push buttons where stitched at one end of the fabric and backed with thick fabric. The other end of the fabric contains a place holder for the music player to be stiched into and its original buttons connected to the new additions.

Stitch the new buttons where you want

Put your player at the right place

Stitch the buttons one at a time

But beware of shorts

Put regular fabric over your connections

Your pod is ready for it's cover
